Follow these easy Steps to Register...
1) Make Sure Stringfest is for you...
Stringfest’s Intermediate Orchestra is appropriate for students who are in their first few years of playing violin, viola, cello, or bass. Previous orchestra experience is not required, but students must be able to read music to participate in Stringfest. Some Stringfest students have played in school orchestras but have had no private lessons; others have been homeschoolers who have had several years of lessons but have never played in orchestra.
The Stringfest orchestra repertoire is typical middle-school level orchestra music: playing in 1st position in the keys of D, G, and C (0, 1, or 2 sharps).
Please Contact Us to ask about your situation if you are not sure. If you wish, you can record a brief (1 min.) video of yourself playing something you have worked on lately and e-mail it to us, or post it as a private YouTube video and send us a link.
